Many people ask about the type of trading we favor. For example, do we prefer day trading to swing or position trading? The answer is that the different styles of trading depend on many factors, such as how much time one has to spend in front of the computer, or the inclination to even want to sit in front of the computer every day. It is true that day trading is in many ways easier to do because there is no emotional pressure when one goes home without a position. However, day trading is often about more smaller moves and a greater number of trades. The tendency is to over trade, instead of waiting patiently for the market to come to you as per your set up rules. In summary, there is a need to have patience as a trader. not every trade is a good trade. Gun slinging is not a good way to trade because it usually leads to losses. Our position then is that no matter what time frame one trades in, it is always necessary to be patient for the high odds trade to set up. We teach in our course, a method of learning to stack the odds.
