If you think you can trade forex then we have news for you.....trading forex is not for everybody. In fact trading of any kind is not for everybody. The reason is that trading requires discipline, patience, objectivity and the ability to see the market as it is rather than as we want it to be. The most amazing feature of trading is that it can be easy to learn but difficult to execute; and its not that the technical or fundamental analysis is so challenging, which it can sometimes be, but rather our own psychological patterns that get in the way. Very successful people are used to doing things their own way or telling people what to do. Usually they are high achievers who will succeed at all costs. They want to dominate the deal, so to speak. But trading is the great leveler because no-one can tell the market what to do. One has to learn to listen to the market and flow with it in order to succeed. The market is nothing but buyers and sellers, each following some rules but more often than not their own expectations. Each trader is placing a bet based on his or her own analysis. If their analysis is in line with the dominant flow in the market, then they will make a winning bet. The solution is to learn to listen, let the market tell you where it wants to go. Then all you have to do is get on board.
