There is a saying in one of the scriptures, that a wise man (or woman) knows the future. This implies that if you are wise you will know what the future will bring. So it seems that the answer is just to become wise! Imagine if you knew what the markets were going to do, how easy it would be to trade and be profitable, rack up the millions and steer clear of all possible misfortunes.
Really what this saying means is that a wise man or woman knows the consequences of his or her actions and, therefore, will be best prepared to handle the future. If you act recklessly now, you should expect reckless results.
This time of the year is a good time to take stock of our lives to see if we are where we want to be. Do we have all we want? Do we feel fulfilled? Not just materially but emotionally and spiritually. Another wise man said, If we keep on doing what we've always done, it is quite plain to see that we'll keep on getting what we've always got.
So to prognosticate the future, why not create a dream sheet of all the things you want to achieve and then bring your mind to focus on them, visualize their actualization, and go for it.
If you want to be a trader, first you have to know what it is that you truly want to achieve. Trading, as with all endeavors, requires skill and a good deal of luck and the ability to prognosticate about the future. But since you can never know the future the best way to mange it is by being prepared. Start with a plan, layout it all out and then trade your plan. Preparation is the first key to being able to succeed in trading. Once you design your road map it is easier to follow that than trying to get somewhere on the fly. Plan your trade and then trade your plan! The future might not be such a mystery.
